Michael Lyle

Mike joined the Science Center in 2022. As Development Manager, Mike is responsible for prospect research and management, providing operations and event support and logistics, and serving as primary CRM database support for the department.

Mike comes to the Science Center from Bard College, where he most recently served as Assistant Director of the Bard College Fund. He was responsible for developing and executing annual giving appeals, reporting metrics, and assisting with the management of website CMS and development databases. Previously, Mike worked as the Program Coordinator for Chapel Music at Duke University, where he managed a robust calendar of annual concerts and events.

Mike holds a Master of Music in Conducting Performance degree from the University of Texas-El Paso and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Grove City College. He has also completed a certificate in non-profit management from Duke University.

When Mike isn't at the Science Center, you can find him cooking up new recipes, playing board games, or enjoying a good hike.
