Felicia Jones

Felicia joined the Science Center in 2021. As Associate Manager for FirstHand, Felicia works with the Senior Director of STEM Education Initiatives and the Impact and Evaluation Program Manager to strengthen and promote deeper career exposure and regional opportunities for the Science Center’s FirstHand alumni. In addition, Felicia leads the coordination of FirstHand’s STEM mentors that support both middle and high school students, and leverages research and FirstHand data to implement effective alumni communications and programming, while fostering collaboration and meaningful partnerships with other regional programs.

Felicia has an extensive work history in the Youth Development/Non-Profit Sector throughout Philadelphia. She has a 12 year run with Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia where she worked as a Core-Programming Specialist, Teen Program Coordinator, OST (Out of School Time) Director, and Site Director. Before working at the Science Center, Felicia worked as a Career Transition Readiness Specialist with the Philadelphia Job Corps Center, assisting students with job placement, and workforce skills.

Felicia is a graduate of the Philadelphia Job Corps Center where she received 2 Career Certifications in Business Occupations, and Carpentry. She is a 2015 graduate of Columbia Southern University with a B. S. in Organizational Leadership. When Felicia isn't at the Science Center, you can find her spending quality time with family and friends, shopping, or playing video games.
