Briana Cannon

Briana joined the Science Center in 2019 and serves as Community Liaison, leading the strategy for community engagement, partnerships, and relationship management across Science Center programs, vendors, and community touchpoints. 

In this role, she has built and stewarded relationships with a broad range of stakeholders — from local diverse small businesses and community organizations to city governments offices, school district representatives, and historical commissions — translating the Science Center's values of impact and equity into measurable outcomes. Her work includes leading career exposure initiatives, directing health and wellness programming open to the local community, and serving as a dedicated partner to the communities and organizations that intersect with the Science Center's footprint. 

Prior to joining the Science Center, Briana gained experience in commercial property management as a Tenant Services Coordinator and Assistant Property Manager, and as a licensed Realtor. A life-long West Philadelphian, she is a proud graduate of Philly colleges/schools: Temple University, Community College of Philadelphia, and West Philadelphia Catholic High School.
