Thomas J. Todorow has joined the University City Science Center’s Board of Directors. Todorow is the Executive Vice President for Corporate Services and the Chief Financial Officer at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). As CFO, Todorow oversees Finance, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing Operations, Treasury, Managed Care Contracting, Supply Chain, and Investments.
Prior to joining CHOP and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Todorow was Vice President of Finance and later Chief Financial Officer of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, was involved with several healthcare start-up ventures, and was a Vice President in JP Morgan’s healthcare investment banking group. He also spent time with Fox Chase Cancer Center as Assistant Treasurer and Controller. Tom spent the first five years of his career in public accounting, including three years with Laventhol and Horwath and two years as Audit Supervisor with Coopers & Lybrand, in their respective Philadelphia offices.
Todorow holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Drexel University and has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
