Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker names more prominent Philadelphia business leaders to her transition team

Philadelphia Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker released a comprehensive list of her transition team members on Friday, including business executives and nonprofit leaders selected for more than a dozen subcommittees.

Parker announced full details on her team of senior advisors, a steering committee, her staff and the 13 subcommittees to aid in the mayoral transition process. Earlier this month, Parker announced that building trades leader Ryan Boyer, who played an instrumental role in her election campaign, will chair the transition effort with Enterprise Center President Della Clark and Versa Capital and Mantis Group founder Gregory Segall as vice chairs.

The 13 subcommittees include special focus areas on 2026 Preparation, Fiscal Sustainability, and Technology and Implementation. Those are in addition to a list of traditional governing focus areas like Public Safety; City Administrative Services; Education; Health and Human Services; and Housing, Planning, and Development.

...

Notable vice chairs in the subcommittees include Center City District President Paul Levy (Commerce & Economic Development), Community College of Philadelphia President Donald "Guy" Generals (Education), Riverwards Group cofounder Mo Rushdy (Housing, Planning, and Development), SEPTA CEO Leslie Richards (Transportation) and University City Science Center CEO Tiffany Wilson (Technology & Implementation).
