In early March, Paul Touhey received an award recognizing his leadership in the field of biotech and life sciences and dedication to “moving the needle” in that community.
“The life sicences industry in Philadelphia is in a crucial time where we need to create new companies that become the future Cephalon and Centocor,” Touhey said. “We have significant validation going on where our companies are being acquired by bigger companies. I think we need to try to move the needle in job creation by funding and seeding companies and populating them with the talent from the companies that have already been acquired from our area.
