Healthcare Innovations: The Proof Is In The Pudding

Dr. Chao Zhou, one of four funding awardees in the seventh round of the University City Science Center’s QED Proof-of-Concept Program, certainly made the most of a second chance. Dr. Zhou, of Lehigh University, was a sixth-round applicant for financial backing for his work on a diagnostic instrument designed to provide faster, more sensitive eye exams for glaucoma and macular degeneration through improved optical coherence tomography (OCT).
