Science fairs are a mainstay of everyone’s school years. This month, Sojourn Philly Restaurant Group is teaming up with the University City Science Center to bring a science fair for adults to Philadelphia.
On October 22, the Adult Science Fair lands at the PHS Pop Up Garden in uCitySquare from 2-5 p.m. The one-day, juried competition’s theme is “Urban Sustainability”. Expect to see entries focusing on renewable energy, urban planning and urban farming. Competition is limited to 20 entries.
All concepts and projects entered by teams and individuals must be in stages of development, rather than a finished project. Expect to see entries that include media, software, hardware and art.
All presentations will be available for public viewing.
If you are interested in participating, entries will be accepted until October 15 (or until all spaces are filled). To enter, include both an abstract (140) and long explanation (450 words) of the project, a 75-word bio of key people involved, 1-minute video explanation and signed waiver.
