When the University City Science Center moves into its new space at 3675 Market Street in the fall, space for its key programs will more than triple, but for those programs to grow in tandem, one thing really helps — money.
That’s why the Science Center announced Wednesday it’s launching a $3 million fundraising campaign, the first of the organization’s kind in recent history, and it’s starting off with a $1.1 million gift from the University of Pennsylvania and Wexford Science & Technology.
