SciArt Cell Communication Workshop

This 2 hour workshop is part talk and part hands on application. A mini tour and lecture will be lead by Artist and Educator, Dolores Bartholomew on the growing genre of SciArt; how it has brought science, art and education together; and a presentation by Madelynne Brynne on her application of scientific knowledge of plant life and biology into interactive sculpture. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own “plant organisms" and get them to communicate with one another. The participants creations will populate and expand upon the plant community in the gallery and stay on display until the end of the show.

All supplies are provided and it is recommended for ages 14 and up.
