    Greg Baldini is a BI Consultant with Nihilent Technologies, Inc. His primary experience lies in dimensional model design; delivering enterprise analytics with Tabular and Power Pivot; and dashboard and report development. An expert in DAX, he has delivered solutions in many spaces including manufacturing, healthcare, fraud analysis, marketing pipelines, and sales performance.

    Learning Statistical Inference with Sports Data

    A solid foundation of statistics and classical statistical inference is key to unlocking a much deeper understanding of machine learning. In this talk, you will learn how historical sports data can be used to make learning statistics fun; while conveying key topics in statistics.

    About the Speaker

    Bart Czernicki is a Advanced Analytics Technical Architect at Microsoft. He engages selected ISVs hands-on to help them accelerate their software adoption of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions on Azure. He has authored two books on business intelligence and currently working on a third (“Uncovering Sports Insights with Statistics & Advanced Analytics”). Before joining Microsoft, Bart was responsible for the technology for two big data & analytics organizations for several years.
