Lunch for Hungry Minds: Preventing Disease Before It Occurs

Dr. Christopher Snyder and his team at Thomas Jefferson University are researching a virus which would create a long-lived immune reaction in parts of our bodies that serve as a first line of defense against infections, making it a strong candidate for a variety of vaccines. Dr. Snyder will discuss his recent work with the cytomegalovirus (CMV), which could offer better and more immediate protection at the front lines, preventing disease before it occurs.
