Kevin Baumlin, MD, FACEP
Kevin M. Baumlin, MD, FACEP, joined the Science Center in 2023 as the Chief Medical Affairs Officer. Dr. Baumlin brings to the Science Center over 30 years of professional experience as a clinician, leader, and advocate for improving lives through compassion, science and technology.
Baumlin came to the Science Center after a run for US Senate in Pennsylvania where he toured the Commonwealth and listened to the voices of citizens who yearn for solutions to improving our healthcare system. Prior to his political campaign he was Chair of Emergency Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital, and Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine for the Perelman School of Medicine. Kevin previously served as Chair of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York, and Vice Chair and Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Jennifer Bepple, DO
Dr. Jennifer Bepple is a double board-certified urologist and clinical informaticist recognized as a national leader in digital health and data-driven care delivery.
With a strong foundation in both medicine and technology, she advises on informatics, AI, and digital health strategy across multiple organizations. She holds a Master of Management in Clinical Informatics from Duke University and is a published author, national presenter, and reviewer for major medical journals. As Chief Medical Officer at AllaiHealth and a consultant in real-world evidence and digital health innovation, Dr. Bepple is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care. She serves on several advisory boards, is an active member of the American Telemedicine Association and American Urologic Association, and holds certifications from the American Board of Telehealth and the American Board of AI in Medicine. She also contributes to global surgical training as a board member of Ohana One, helping advance international education through virtual reality technology

Adam Glassofer, MD
Dr. Adam Glasofer is the Founder and Managing Director of Vertex Health, where he helps companies succeed in building, deploying, and scaling healthcare technology.
He has over 20 years of experience as a physician and healthcare IT executive, demonstrating success in leading large-scale change within and across organizations, from early-stage startups to big tech enterprises. At Vertex Health, Adam manages a wide-reaching portfolio that includes clients such as ARPA-H, American Cancer Society BrightEdge, CGI Federal, Deerfield Intelligence, Oura, WellLink, and multiple high-potential healthtech startups. Before starting Vertex Health, Adam was the Global Head of Healthcare for Venture Capital and Startups at Amazon Web Services. In this role, he created the AWS Healthcare Accelerator program and led a team of healthtech experts focused on driving the adoption of startups with healthcare customers around the world. Prior to Amazon, Adam was the Chief Innovation Officer and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer at Virtua Health, where he founded Virtua's telehealth program and Center for Innovation.
A pediatric hospitalist by training, Dr. Glasofer practiced clinical medicine for 15 years working as part of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at Virtua group in a pediatric emergency department. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Clinical Informatics and holds a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics. He has presented globally on topics such as telemedicine and innovation in healthcare, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Science Center, the International Investment Board of ANDHealth Australia, and the MedTech Board of the Bucknell University Perricelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation.

Jake Prigoff, MD
Jake Prigoff, MD is a physician, investor, and healthcare executive focused on helping early-stage companies translate scientific innovation into clinically viable products.
He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of Afynia Laboratories, a diagnostics company developing a novel miRNA-based blood test for endometriosis, where he leads clinical and medical strategy. Dr. Prigoff also brings deep experience at the intersection of healthcare innovation and venture investing through his work with Gaingels, where he served as a partner investing across digital health, diagnostics, biotechnology, and medical devices. During his time there, he raised and managed a venture fund with strong early performance and helped build partnerships between startups and academic institutions, including a $5M collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Prigoff trained in general surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University and earned his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His work spans clinical research, medical education, and healthcare policy, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations across major medical and surgical conferences. In addition to his operating and clinical training, he has served as an Executive in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania’s Eidos Health Initiative and currently sits on the Board of Advisors for the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Through advisory roles with startups and health organizations, he helps companies design clinical strategies, navigate regulatory pathways, and position innovative healthcare technologies for successful commercialization.

Lara Zibners, MD
Lara Zibners, MD, MMEd, MBA, is a visionary entrepreneur, board-certified pediatric emergency physician, educator, published author, and businesswoman dedicated to transforming women’s healthcare.
She is currently co-founder and chairman of Calla Lily Clinical Care, a British women's healthcare company transforming drug delivery for women. Splitting time between London, Vienna, and Colorado, she brings a global perspective to healthcare innovation. With a medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, a master’s degree in medical education from the University of Dundee, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Lara’s expertise bridges clinical practice, executive leadership, and healthcare innovation.
In addition to her work leading Calla Lily Clinical Care, Lara is a medical educator at the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom and is involved in trauma education and training at the international level. She is co-host of the podcast Unstable Vitals, the author of If Your Kid Eats This Book, Everything Will Still Be Okay (Hachette, 2009) and has appeared on television and radio, including The Rachael Ray Show, numerous podcasts, and in print media publications like Forbes, MedPage Today, Healthcare Today, and Medcity News.
