Cassandra Manotham

Department Assistant, Programming

Cassandra joined the Science Center in 2024. As Department Assistant, Programming, Cassandra is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and project support to the Programming department, working closely with department Directors and Senior Directors to ensure optimized communication and support external event coordination.

Before joining Science Center, she developed and managed a digital equity program designed to meet the unique needs of immigrants and refugees. Over two years, she fostered hundreds of relationships with individuals in over 20 different language groups, provided personalized tech skills-building lessons, and facilitated access to free or low-cost laptops, phones, and internet. In the future, through combining her experience with program management, full stack web development, and grassroots organizing, she hopes to continue working on the intersections of technology and equity to make programs and software that caters to immigrant and refugee users.

Cassandra went to Girls High (Class of 259) and received a B.A. in English and a minor in Environmental Studies from Haverford College.

When Cassandra isn't at Science Center, you can find her grocery shopping for her next fun recipe, taking a walk in Philly's parks, or hanging out with her 20lb cat, Luna.
