Science Center’s Capital Readiness Program Drives $137M in Healthcare Innovation Capital as it Launches its 10th Cohort

PHILADELPHIA, PA (February 18, 2026) – Alumni of the Science Center’s Capital Readiness Program (CRP) have collectively raised $137 million, advancing healthcare innovation, creating jobs, and attracting investor interest from across the country. As the organization prepares to welcome its 10th cohort March 2-6, this milestone underscores the Science Center’s role in strengthening the capital layer of the healthcare innovation ecosystem.

As a core pillar of The Translation ProjectTM, the Science Center’s operating system for accelerating the translation of healthcare innovations into real-world solutions, CRP is designed for companies approaching a first institutional fundraising round, CRP equips founders with the network, insights, and practical skills needed to engage credibly and confidently with healthcare stakeholders.

Since 2023, the Capital Readiness Program has become a trusted growth platform for companies addressing cardiovascular health, aging and longevity, oncology, healthcare workflow and infrastructure, and more—reflected in the program’s strong outcomes. To date the Capital Readiness Program has achieved:

  • 89 companies supported across the U.S., Canada, and UK
  • $137 million* raised by CRP alumni companies with $33 million of that total by companies in Greater Philadelphia
  • 173 jobs created
  • 35 companies are generating revenue
  • 35 investors engaged across the U.S. representing $1.35 billion in venture capital

“This milestone cohort reflects the durability of the Capital Readiness Program and the unmet demand for sophisticated, tactical startup support focused on derisking, building evidence, and accelerating the time to market,” said Tiffany Wilson. “As a foundational pillar of The Translation Project, CRP directly aligns with our broader strategy to accelerate healthcare innovation. We’re proud to support these companies at a time when healthcare innovation isn’t just an opportunity, it’s a necessity.”

“The Capital Readiness Program goes beyond a typical accelerator. It helped us generate the kind of evidence healthcare investors and stakeholders actually value, sharpen our strategy, and prepare for institutional capital with real confidence,” says Annika Lundström, CEO of ReMinded, Inc.
