PHILADELPHIA--(July 29, 2010) – Angel investing group Robin Hood Ventures has established an office in the University City Science Center’s Port business incubator. Other new Port residents include: Biologistics Consulting, DMX and Nuvon.
Robin Hood Ventures is a group of experienced entrepreneurs and accredited investors interested in investing and taking an active role in early-stage companies with high return on investment potential. Robin Hood focuses on investing in early stage companies located in the Mid-Atlantic region, primarily scalable companies with intellectual property. Since its inception in 1999, Robin Hood has invested $11 million in 30 companies. BioAdvance, which provides start-up funding for regional life science companies, also has a satellite office at the Science Center.

Biologistics Consulting is the newest participant in the Science Center’s Global Soft Landing program which helps international companies establish a foothold in local life sciences and information technology markets.
