“I am honored to serve as Chair of this committed board of leaders devoted to serving the region’s innovation community,” said DiPiano. “As a result of the dedication and hard work of the Board and the Science Center leadership, I am confident the Science Center is well positioned to continue to enhance its impact.”
“Craig has presided over significant growth of the Science Center over the last eight years with our most recent Impact Report being the culmination of those efforts,” says President & CEO Steve Zarrilli. “We’re grateful for his leadership and for the opportunity to continue working together as a member of the Board while leveraging Mike’s expertise as we build on this momentum.”
“Over the last several years the Science Center has grown physically and programmatically; reflecting the new energy in Philadelphia around innovation-based economic development, and serving as Chair, among other committed volunteers, was a privilege,“ says Carnaroli. “Momentum in the region is strong based on both the new ventures regularly launching out of our universities, and the entrepreneurs investing in our homegrown innovations. The future looks bright, and the Science Center is poised to make a very positive impact.”
In addition, Patrick T. Harker, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, was elected to the Science Center Board of Directors at the Science Center’s annual Shareholders Meeting on June 21, 2019.
