Coffee & Counsel, a Satellite Quorum program developed by the University City Science Center, will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs working in the clean tech and energy efficiency space to get face time with one of the region’s leading angel investors. When Coffee & Counsel returns on June 21 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, John Moore, managing partner of Robin Hood Ventures and president of Investors’ Circle Philadelphia, will meet with a small group of entrepreneurs over coffee and a light breakfast for an informal Q&A session. The goal of the session is to give entrepreneurs unique insight into the considerations startups and growing companies must make when approaching investors. An expansion of the Science Center’s successful Quorum program, Satellite Quorum is offering programming inpartnership with the Energy Efficient Buildings (EEB) Hub that plugs entrepreneurs into the clean tech and advanced energy retrofit industries and connects them with the people and resources necessary to grow their startups.
Throughout the year, Coffee & Counsel will offer targeted advice to entrepreneurs from a number of leaders in Greater Philadelphia’s clean tech and energy efficiency community.
The June 21 Coffee & Counsel session will begin at 7:45 a.m. with registration, networking and a continental breakfast. The formal program will run from 8 – 9:30 a.m. with additional networking opportunities immediately following. There is no charge for the event which will take place in Building 101 at the Navy Yard, the current home of the EEB Hub. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
