You're Invited: Pivot Park Block Party!

Celebrate the Grand Opening of Pivot Park, located on the corner of 37th and Market St.

Explore this beautiful new public space with an Opening Ceremony and family-friendly public Block Party presented by University City Science Center, CIC Philadelphia and Wexford Science & Technology

Food and Beverage:

Food trucks will be onsite giving out samples to the first handful of guests followed by pay-as-you-go options. Food Trucks TBA!

If you're 21+, stop by our Welcome Table to show your ID and get a wristband which will get you 2 free drinks (beer, wine or our signature cocktail; a spiked hot apple cider)

- Become a scientist for the day with BioLabs! Create your own erupting pumpkin volcano using fun and easy chemical reactions.

-Learn more about precipitation and buoyancy with Firsthand Philly. Make it rain in a cup or design an aluminum foil boat.

- Stop by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society table to pick up stunning yellow and red Banja Luka tulip bulbs, inquire about volunteering for the Flower Show, and learn about PHS programs and memberships.

Parking

Free parking will be offered to all Block Party attendees at the lot located between 38th and 39th Streets along Market (entrance on 39th Street). Visitors should let the parking attendant know they’re going to the Block Party.
