David, a graduate of the Science Leadership Academy’s (SLA) second graduating class, is very passionate about cultivating scientific environments. Throughout his career, David has been devoted to developing the next generation of scientists and science curricula for middle and high school students.
David comes to the FirstHand team with several years of experience in mentorship, workforce development and STEM education through his time with organizations such as The Franklin Institute Science Museum and AmeriCorps. David recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a major of Business Management and Marketing Research and a minor in Information Systems. Before coming to the Science Center, David served as Member Support for Youth and Gateway programs at JEVS Human Services in Philadelphia.
