Eagles vs. Patriots: A formal challenge for our friends in Boston

The University City Science Center, Wexford Science + Technology and uCity Square (“Philadelphia”) formally challenge CIC, BioLabs and the Venture Café Foundation (“Boston”) to a friendly Super Bowl wager. While not legally binding, if Philadelphia and Boston do not meet the terms of the wager within five days of the Super Bowl, the losing city will be subject to constant and unrelenting ridicule from the winning city.

 

In consideration of the mutual covenants of the parties set forth in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows:

 

  • The losing city will change their Facebook and Twitter cover photos to the winning team’s logo for one (1) week.
  • If Boston wins, Science Center CEO will wear a Patriots jersey for one (1) day with a photo posted to Science Center social media accounts. When the Eagles win, CIC Managing Director will wear an Eagles jersey for one (1) day with a social media photo posted on CIC social media accounts.
  • The losing city will buy lunch for staff from the winning city.

 

Philadelphia and Boston shall participate in activities hereunder with a high standard of professionalism and ethics and in a manner that in no way reflects or reasonably could be expected to reflect adversely on the reputation, goodwill or business of Philadelphia or Boston.
